Private Pilates and strength training in Uptown Whittier — from the stage to the studio. Intense enough to change your body. Smart enough to protect your joints & spine.
Movement has been Rocio's whole life — and she has spent four decades learning exactly how to make a body strong, mobile, and pain-free.
It all began in childhood with dance lessons and an early debut performing live on stage. As a kid, she was a member of the Nosotros Children's Acting Company, where every performance demanded the full triple threat — acting, singing, and dance across tap, jazz, and modern.
Flamenco soon took over her afternoons, and forty years later she still teaches and performs it. Before that, she earned her first degree at CSU Long Beach — home to one of the top ten dance programs in the nation — and went on to join Cirque du Soleil, training in Montreal, Quebec. She has performed in theaters across the United States, Europe, South America, and Japan, both on the ground and as an aerialist.
Taking care of the body we live in matters deeply to her. Her own body has stayed healthy thanks to her certifications in Pilates, Personal Training, and Yoga. She also holds a Master of Fine Arts in Television, Film & Theatre and a Master of Education. She loves doing Pilates as much as teaching it — because it does a body good.
It's intense — but safe for the joints & the spine. That intensity is exactly what makes your body change faster, leaner, stronger.
